Do you need to schedule a home inspection? Although our home inspections are extensive and involve a lot more than we can list in this blog, here is an idea of some of the items we inspect:
First, we spend time checking the exterior of your home, making sure that the roof is in good shape as well as any decks connected with the house. We also check that the property has sufficient grading. Next, we will spend a good amount of time examining the building’s structure and systems. The HVAC system is another area that we give particular attention to. We will also take a look at the plumbing system and will turn on all the faucets in the home to see how they are working.
Naturally, you want the house to be as safe as possible and one of the main areas at risk are the electrics, so the electrical panel and wiring are thoroughly inspected. Another safety concern for homeowners is doors and locks so we will be sure to test a number of doors and windows to see how secure they are.
