Do you have low water pressure? Many people have an issue with the water pressure in their home. But what causes low water pressure in the first place? Here are a few things to check:

  • Whole house water filters are a big culprit. If you have a whole house filter it can really reduce the water pressure. Try putting a filter at the fixtures that you need instead – like the kitchen sink.
  • The foot valve – if you have a well – can be a problem too. It is like a check valve. If it has gone bad you can lose pressure too.
  • Also, some municipalities just have low pressure. If this is the case, you can add a well tank to your house’s water service line and store the pressure to even it out a bit.
